Beauty begins in the mind. With attention so firmly focused on beauty, the psyche must not be left behind. Every patient deserves the opportunity to explore their expectations before surgery and to reflect after surgery. Doing so forms part of an enlightened cosmetic surgery experience where you can become well-informed with realistic expectations. I call this The Beautiful Conversation.
A relaxed informal conversation between us will form part of a unique service that I developed in January 2000 which I call brief cosmetic surgery counselling or A Beautiful Conversation. It feels just like the conversation you have been searching for. This is unlike any other type of psychotherapy or counselling. This is an independent service and we do not try to sell anything. I love meeting cosmetic patients and hope they enjoy meeting me too. My interest and passion in the subject led me to become the first independent cosmetic surgery counselling provider.I began this specialised conversation service on 14 January 2ooo. It is unique and independent - just like you. I am a Partner of the All Party Parliamentary Campaign on Body Image as well as a Member of the Expert Reference Group on Cosmetic Interventions of Health Education England. I hold a BA (Hons) in Philosophy (specializing in aesthetics) as well as a Post-grad diploma in psychotherapy. This is an independent information and support site.
